OMGGGGGG life is so busy omggggg can die la really so many things to dooooooo ))))):
biochem CA was barely over, like just over 1 week ago, but there's more torture coming up! ):
physio CA1 is on 21st oct, anatomy CA1 is on 4th november, dental morphology test is on 25th oct, oral biology test is on 3rd dec. ))): AND IT DOESN'T END THERE. ): cariology project due in 3 weeks time, and i'm the group leader for this project ): how suay. omg ): STILL HAVE SOMEMORE ): the freaking dental morphology book of drawings of the ENTIRE permanent dentition is due on 28th oct ): omggggg D:
and labwork is ever so stressful ): i just managed to speed up my lab projects today cos the project was rather easy for me compared to drilling cavities haha ... but then .. next lab lesson it's back to drilling again ): plus restoring the cavities omggg i hope i'm not super slow again omgg can die la really i'll be so stressed zz ): and haha plus our occlusion course just started omgg and we're doing wax ups ): actually wax ups are quite fun if only they weren't graded ): haiz ): like i actually like the whole wax up process hahaha it's damn fun la, just use molten wax to build up a tooth, complete with the morphological features and all, then carve it to look like a real tooth (: haha haiz if only it weren't graded sighhh grading makes everything so stressful cos you have to be really hard on yourself and be as perfectionistic as possible, or else don't even dream of passing man ): yeahhh haha if there's one thing that this dental course has taught me so far, it's that, you must be damn perfectionistic and set damn high standards for yourself in everything you do cos like, yeahhh everything must be super precise la , right down to every right angle and sharp corner and every curve and whatnot haha gosh it's really quite artistic come to think of it! no wonder they say dentistry is a scientific art and and artistic science hehe xD
another thing i've learnt over the course of these 2 months: i've learnt how to fail. serious haha i've never faced failure before haha but here, omggg it happens all the time. from cavity preparations down to wax modelling and everything omg but it's ok la that's the way everyone learns here (: apparently here, everyone fails super frequently all the time haha every single person will fail at something at least once or twice over here and it's a really steep learning curve but we all graduate in the end yayy haha with super pro manual dexterity at the end of the whole course so yupp ((: must press on and improve ((:
I CAN'T WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS ALR ((((: my favourite time of the year yayyyyy ((((:
